with an eyelash foaming cleanser.

Commonly Asked Questions

How long will my eye lash extensions last?

On average they will last 2-3 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle.

Will it harm my lashes?

No, as long as you refrain from rubbing your eyes or tugging at the

extensions, you will not harm or lose your own lashes.

Does it hurt?
No, eyelash extensions are painless. Most clients feel comfortable

enough to fall asleep during the procedure.

Can I still wear makeup/mascara?

I do not recommend wearing mascara since it is very difficult to remove

from the extensions without pulling at your natural eyelashes. Please use

oil-free cosmetics when removing makeup close to the eye area

while wearing eyelash extensions.

Can I still use an eyelash curler?

No, an eyelash curler will break the bond on your extensions and will

damage your natural eyelashes.

What can I do to make my extensions last longer?
Do not get the extensions wet for the first 24 hours after your appointment.

Wash your lashes every day.

Avoid steam rooms/saunas.

Avoid vigorous rubbing or tugging at your lashes.

Do not use oil-based makeup or makeup removers.

When do I have to get them retouched?
I recommend clients come in for touch ups every 2-3 weeks, for clients who

prefer to maintain a full look.

What to Expect on Your First Wax Visit

Before You Arrive

Please check if your hair is at least 1/4 of an inch long to adhere to the wax.

Always shower before your waxing appointment, while avoiding any long lasting products and hot water.

It's suggested to exfoliate the day before using a dry brush or gentle exfoliating scrub.

Do not apply any products such as lotions or oils to your skin the day of your appointment.

If needed take a pain relief like Advil / Aleve 30-45 minutes before your appointment. Avoid aspirin, alcohol, caffeine and exercise before your appointment because it will increase blood flow, which can increase discomfort.

Your wax appointment should be booked at least two days before your pool, beach, water day.

Keep in Mind

Waxing on your period can cause slightly more discomfort.

If you have any open wounds, sores, broken skin, or rashes you will not be able to be waxed.

Please check the area to be waxed to make sure there is no contraindication.

The hair that is to be waxed can not be too long, the hair will snap in half instead of pulling from the root.

Please be aware that trimming the hair may be necessary.

What to wear?

It's best to try to be as comfortable as possible while getting your hair ripped out. For face waxing I suggest wearing loose clothing, you will be draped to protect your clothing anyways. For arm waxes I suggest a tank top on or one under your shirt. For leg and Brazilian waxes it's best to wear a dress, skirt or loose pants.

Just  Know..

It gets better! I understand that first timers don't know what to expect.

My best advice is to acknowledge that the first time will be the most uncomfortable, especially if you're been shaving prior.

However it doesn't have to be the worst thing you've ever done.

Almost always people leave pleasantly relieved that the wax wasn't nearly as bad as they expected. Every wax after the first one gets easier, especially when your hair starts growing in sparser, finer and we weaken that follicle.

Waxing Aftercare

Absolutely no shaving!!

In order to avoid any infections on the freshly waxed skin I suggest no pool like activities, baths, hot showers, saunas, intense workouts, heavily scented or colored soaps or lotions and wearing tight clothing for at least 24 hours.

For Brazilians add sexual activity to the list.

If your skin is feeling sensitive after your wax you can place a cold compress, by wrapping  an ice pack or plain ice with a clean cloth.

You can also invest in aloe gel to naturally restore the skins moisture. You can add a small amount of natural tea tree oil to fend off bacteria.

After two days one of the most necessary steps to prevent ingrown hairs is exfoliating.

You can exfoliate with a dry brush or a gentle body scrub, recommended no more than three times a week.
